We wanted to level out a spot in the floor and replace the tiles with a wooden floor. Here is a shot of Jane as she uses the jackhammer to get up the hunks of cement. A floating wooden floor will be added next week which will be water proof and easier to clean.
On the left, a finished cafe room. We painted the door and the paneling a plain white which should go nicely with the floating wooden floor that will be added soon. On the right, the finished game room in a classic cherry red and classic black.
Christmas is in the air, and even though we will not be opening for a few more weeks, our tree is up as well as other decorations around the building. To the right is our computer spot where we will have 4 computers for our customers to surf the web with.
As some of you know, we are from New Orleans. So if you look at our Christmas tree, you'll see little plastic crawfish covering the tree. Two tables have been fixed and are going to be the first of many tables to be added to the cafe.
While we are still working on this room, snow globes from New Orleans were the first to go up. Film reels, posters, and other things theater related will be shown in this room to give it the theater feel. The walls were finally finished with a classic Antique Red.
